On behalf of Special Health Resources for Texas, Inc., its Board, and the Staff, I want to welcome you to our website. This website is a work in progress and each page you go to will be continuously updated to reflect what our staff is doing and the latest information in a wide variety of health care concerns. We are committed to professional excellence and service to the communities we serve here in Northeast Texas. As we progress, an electronic newsletter will be available to you by email subscription, as will other links to items of interest. At Special Health Resources for Texas, we are committed to excellence in our programs serving youth, adults, and families throughout East Texas. We promote positive family communication, professional drug and alcohol prevention, intervention and treatment, client-centered HIV/AIDS education, outreach, testing, and primary medical treatment. We believe that by working together with families and individuals in a personal and professional manner, we will improve the health and quality of life in our communities.
Staff Philosophy
The function of Special Health Resources is to enable the staff and community to achieve together what they cannot possibly achieve alone. Special Health Resources is intended to make our highest personal hopes achievable through common search, common effort and common discipline. Special Health Resources tries to provide the environment in which each employee can become what they most seek to be.
