$50/Individual Session; $16/Group Session. For individuals who qualify for Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse funding the cost is free. A sliding fee scale is available for all others and the cost is minimal.

Family income must be below 200% of the national poverty level guidelines and provide proof of family income, i.e., pay stubs, W2 Form

- Who will know I am participating in services?
All of Special Health Services programs protect the confidentiality of its consumers, exceptions are mandated by law; i.e., child or elder abuse, intent to harm self or others, intent to commit a crime.

Staff providing services are Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors.

- Are visitors allowed in facilities?
Visitors must sign-in at the front desk at every facility. Visitors are not allowed to participate in scheduled activities.

- How are the youth disciplined?
Special Health Resources does not use restraints of any kind. Every attempt is made to verbally de-escalate the situation. When appropriate, parent(s) are called to pick their child up.

- How should I dress?
Comfortable clothes, that are not provocative, should be worn. No gang colors or signs may be worn at any time.

- Do you allow smoking or tobacco products to be used?
No one (including staff, participant, or visitor) is allowed to smoke or use tobacco products in the presence of a minor at any time.

- How will I know what program is best for me?
A counselor will complete a screening and personal interview with you to determine your needs and the program best suited to meet your needs.
